Was the 3" adapter welded with or without trimming of the existing exhaust piping? I am concerned if it was just added on, there might be down-pipe fitment issues...

the existing piping was trimmed and the adapter was welded on. I had no DP fitment issues (I ran catless Helix DP + Borla Hush).
