wouldnt welding it be worst. some up pipes and some headers have the flex part. if you weld everything together it will have harder fitment and possibly crack from the car flexing? i been lookin for a last mod on my car for a long time, and that is a exhaust manifold. if there are other iclub members that recommend this weld at the uppipe and headers i might look into buying this. the only other thing im looking at is turbo inlet but im too lazy to install it. my car is complete after i get headers

 

I thought the same thing as you. I'm stage 2 with a perrin turbo inlet and sti tmic. I figured headers would finish it up...buuuut, I neither have the time or money to install it anymore...I definately don't have the money to tune it...and I have bills coming up that I need to pay or i'm effed. lol Kinda sucks cause I was looking forward to putting these on.

I'm gonna look around for the whole welding thing. Maybe someone can chime in right now and straighten this out.
