Car Info: 96 Chevy Impala SS, 06 GMC 2500HD (former 02 WRX)
FS : 9007 HID Kit, 4300K
Cleaning out the garage of some items I am no longer using....
HID kit for 9007 applications (i.e. 02-03 Impreza, among others), with plug-n-play harness for Impreza. 4300K bulb temp (bright white).
Upsides : VERY bright, and decently good beam pattern in stock capsules (i.e. does NOT blind oncoming cars when aimed right). Attractively priced, and if you're local I will install them FOR FREE.
Downsides : Low Beam Only (but these things throw out enough light that it doesn't matter
). Also, there is a "bug" (that I never figured out) that you can only turn on your foglights once without cycling the ignition. Meaning, that if you have on the HIDs (with foglights off), you can turn on the Fogs but if you turn the fogs back off you will have to turn off the ignition key before you can turn on the foglights again. No biggie....once again, these lights are so bright that I found myself NEVER using the fogs when I had them installed
.
Reason for selling : have aftermarket headlights now that don't use 9007 bulbs any more.....thus, these are just taking up space in my garage.
Asking $200 delivered to UCKK, and I'll install them for you! If you are local to San Jose but can't make UCKK, we'll work something out. If you are not local, then it is $200 + shipping.
E-mail me ( ed@runnion.net ) or PM me if interested. Thanks!
