It's a V2, the part # is AP-SUB-003, so it'll only fit the 08-09 WRX/STI's, 07-09 FXT's, and the 07-09 Legacy/Outback's.
I think it's called the CANBUS protocol, instead of the older OBDII, but I could be completely wrong here.
