FS: 2006 WRX Limited Wagon

So this is sort of a feeler ad, and sort of a serious selling ad.

Long story short, I'm a Jeep guy and got a Subaru to have it as a DD but I'm simply not happy with it. To each their own, but the whole car thing just isn't me. I love working on Jeeps and something about the simplicity of them keeps me yearning for more. That and the fact that I grew up around them and a Jeep was my first vehicle.

That aside, I have a 2006 WRX Limited Wagon that needs to find a good home.

110k on the odometer
$11,000 OBO

I'll upload more photos this weekend as I plan on going through it and giving her a full detail on Saturday. For now, I just scrounged these photos up. Now, onto the details.

The whole car is mostly stock, with a few exceptions.

- Yakima Roof Rack. (Yes, those long *** bars are Yakima. I've since cut them down, which will be evident in the pictures I'll post this weekend.)

- Sparco Assetto Gara 17x7.5 48mm offset & Federal 595s with 50-60% treadlife on them.

- Stock Wheels and tires (tires need to be replaced, but an extra set of wheels for your banging around in the mountains when it's snowy out is never a bad thing)

- Spec Stage 3+ Clutch in at 95k/Work done at Speed Element

- New Gates timing belt kit, water pump, and oil pump in the box, ready to go in. (Will probably do this weekend.)

- Cobb AP.

Options:

Sunroof
Tan Leather
Heated seats

Everything else is pretty standard. Cruise control, etc. Replaced the front speakers with Kenwood Components.

Otherwise the car is entirely stock. I have an extra set of door cards as the current front passenger and rear driver side door cards both have a few nicks on them. Will put those in or let the new owner take them with. They're exact replacements (tan leather)

Condition:
Body: 6/10 - The paint is admittedly pretty bad (this may be discretionary as I'm rather picky.) From a few feet back it cleans up really nicely, but up close you can see the imperfections (black paint sucks for that.) The hood and bumper are particularly bad as the previous owner let bugs accumulate on the paint and never bothered washing them off. It's going to Geico next week due to there being a dent in the driver's side door (******* hit it in front of my house and didn't leave any information behind.) With the bumper and hood resprayed, it'd probably be an 8/10.

Interior: 7/10 - The interior represents an average 8 year old car with 110k miles. Leather is almost perfect, the exceptions being what seems to be a tiny bit of discoloration and a tiny rip/hole on the back seat. (hole is literally no larger than 2-4mm in diameter)

Mechanical: 8/10 - I'd say it's average or above average, as I'm pretty rigorous about maintaining my vehicles. It's definitely better off than when I got it toward the end of 2012.

Recently swapped all fluids and will again be flushing the coolant when I do the timing belt. Just flushed the power steering, topped off the brake and power steering fluid. Brakes recently bled and pads have a decent bit of life left on them. Also recently replaced the battery terminals as they had a good bit of corrosion on them, and put in a Die Hard Gold battery. Didn't need a new battery, but I have no idea when the Duralast that was in it was dropped in, so figured I better replace it before it goes on me. Also worth mentioning that I just replaced the spark plugs with NGK Iridiums (OE replacement) and replaced an ignition coil preventatively, as it looked to be in rough shape.

This is all probably TL;DR but there you have it. I'm located in San Jose. PM me here or shoot me an email at kenrmorse@gmail.com if you're interested. I say this is a feeler ad simply because there's a few things being done to it that are pre-requisite of it selling (namely the timing belt and it going to Geico.) That said, if you want to buy it and do the timing belt yourself, I have the parts
