FS: 2005 Legacy Wagon GT Limited 5 speed Blown Head Gasket

Symptoms:

P0303 and P0304 CEL
Coolant reservoir is empty
Idles rough

I got a estimate for the fix $3400 (From Subaru of Oakland) for a new head gasket as well as fixing all the other bells and whistles when pulling out a motor. Timing belt, hoses, gaskets, resurfacing heads etc..

Reason I am selling?

I'd rather put the cash towards a new truck.

Car:

2005 Legacy GT Manual Limited Wagon 96K Miles
Black leather interior
Car is completely back to stock now
New clutch at 70k
New front LGT brake calipers and rotors
New rear rotors

All oil changes done at Capitol Subaru
60K Maintenance done at GST

Paint in great condition
Interior is in good condition (black leather) No rips or tears.
Clean title

The brembos and sti bbs are off the car.

Looking for 8K , great project for someone who can do the work themselves.

For folks who don't know, the manual only came in 2005 (I spent a long time looking for this car)

Located in San Leandro.

Registered and smogged last month.

Damn it Paul. Killer deal for a man of your means. I'd trade my wagon for that in an instant.

$3400 is actually pretty reasonable if they're doing all the timing belt stuff too. Especially considering its a dealership.

Thanks for the offers, but Paul has dibs for now pending him talking to his wife since he called me first.

Correct $3400 from subaru with a bunch of 100k maintenance stuff. Or you can pull it and rebuild it with better everything for a little bit more from one of the many shops on here.

Ray told me about this. Paul LOL. Yeah this car is one of the more rare ones that Subaru made. 5spd LGTs are few and far between. I had mine shipped from FL.
