Yep, its direct plug and play for an RS. I have the exact head unit in my 99. Just switch over the mounting brackets, plug it in and install.

Quick question for Cashis. How much better is the STi headunit than the WRX 6 disc? What are its advantages?

 

Only difference I've noticed so far is that the STI headunit doesn't have a tape deck, but has a bigger display
