SOLD
Selling my 2003 Impreza Outback.
2003 Subaru Impreza Outback
4EAT
White/Grey
81,xxx miles
Car is good to go. The motor runs well, transmission is strong
So if you haven't seen, I'll fill you in. I bought this car on April 6, 2009 with what was supposed to be a blown headgasket. turns out the car had a cracked piston and a bad transmission. I got a new shortblock, but then it turned out that had a rod knock. I got some money from the seller and completely rebuilt that block, put it in the car and found out it was overheating because its was a 98 rs block, so the compression was higher so it was overheating.
End of story, I bought a perfectly good working motor and a working transmission. Put those both in, all new fluids, transmission fluid, oil, front diff fluid etc. The car was still overheating. Turns out the radiator was completely shot, so I bought a new OEM one, threw it in the car, all is well.
The Good:
80k miles Working! SOHC motor
New/used Transmission
New Transmission and Front Differential Fluid
Fresh Oil/filter
Brand New Radiator
New Thermostat
Clean Body
4 Pioneer Speakers
Aftermarket stereo w/ cd etc
new Windshield
new battery w/warranty
~60% tire life all season tires
Lots of brake life left
The Bad:
Two small dents on the car
- One small dent in front fender
- One dent/scratch behind passenger door
Small puncture in front bumper
Paint stain on back of rear seat
Blue Book for this car in good condition is $8600. I feel this is a bit high and I'd like a quick sale, so the price will be $7500
The car is very clean, it drives well. Has a couple cosmetic issues now, but nothing else. I've spent way too much time/money on this car and I really need it sold so I can finally buy myself a new project so I can have a nice fun suby.
