Selling my 1999 Integra GSR Racecar
This car ran in the SCCA Nationals SSB Class, and has been converted to ITE for one race.
The motor and tranny are stock spec with 89k mi, the head gasket and timing belt, water pump has been replaced around 84k mi. The head was freshened at the same time. The car ran in 3 national and 4 regional race weekends (Nationals in Portland, Laguna Seca, and Phoenix). Last race was ran in late 2008. Motor runs like brand new.
Car is fast in SSB trim, SCCA National Showroom Stock class. Car logged 1:49's at Laguna, and 1:13's at Phoenix. With IT upgrades, the car is even faster.
The car has the following:
Custom Cage with Nascar Door Bars and multiple additional bars by Mike Lock at Calculated Risk
DC Sports 4 to 1 Ceramic Header
2.5" Test Pipe, and custom tuned Greddy EVO2 Exhaust
Lightspeed Air Intake Kit
Kirkey Road Race Seat with custom mounts and seat back brace
Autopower 3" 5-point Cam Lock seat belts (Still look brand new, but may need to get rewebbed at Autopower for about $80 to get new date tags)

Its not illegal to drive with a cage, depending on the cage your going to get tickets. If the cage in any way gets into rear view window that's a ticket. Have to have seatbelts that are dot approved, in most caged cars people don't run stock location seatbelts. Another reason for a ticket is how close the cage is to your head, it's unsafe in most cars. So yah if you think a caged car is not going to get yah in trouble then your thinking wrong. I'm sure it's up to the cop that pulls yah over. People have sued people for getting seriously hurt when getting in a accident with a caged car. Something I would not take my chances DD.

People are sue happy, just another reason for someone to sue yah. Depends on the accident, you hit a caged car wrong your going to get more hurt from the caged integra. I'm not talking about some roll bar or some half asses roll cage. I'm talking about the race approved cages, they don't give like the Escalade would.
