Car Info: 05 LGT Wagon 5spd, '11 R6 Race
FS: 1998 Impreza RS w/ '06 WRX swap
The car is in Santa Rosa, California (north of SF)
Up for sale here is my 1998 Impreza RS with a complete 2006 WRX swap. I bought this '98 Impreza RS back in 2006 with 123k miles on the car. Since then the car has gone under a complete transformation. The car has basically no parts from 1998, everything in the car was replaced with parts from the 2006. I swapped the 2006 in at the beginning of 2008 with 35k miles on the engine and now everything has 53k miles and the body of the car has 153k miles on it
The car was tuned by Fine Line Imports of Santa Rosa the car bad 227whp and 275 wtq on 10.5 PSI (less than stock) can easily make some more power with more boost
Fine Line Imports

For an extra 300 dollars I'll throw in a Carbon Fiber Trunk
If anyone wants to look through my buildup starting from 2007, everything that has ever happened is right here:

**SMOG** This car is 100% smog legal. I had the car smogged at a California State Referee, it passed with flying colors. I received the sticker that shows its a legal swap so smog is not an issue as long as you throw the catted DP on there

There a couple problems with the car, but nothing to major. The abs in the car is not working, probably a bad pump or something. The rear defroster does not work either. The airbag light is on because the stock seats in the WRX had airbags in them w/sensors to see when someone was sitting there and those are no longer in the car because they are uncomfortable and heavy. Also, the car has pretty decent rust on the rear quarter panels. I know a few people who can get the metal repaired for very cheap but then the rear quarter panels would have to be painted.
Price is 11,500 obo
NO TRADES. I'll accept a partial trade for a GF wagon only

thanks dude, I've put a lot of solid work into this car
The car was tuned originally with an HKS DP (Not bellmouth) so we ran lower boost to keep it reliable but it still picked up good power. So if you had it retuned with higher boost (like 14-15?) which couldnt be too expensive since it already has a good map I could see it picking up some good power/torque. I mean it gained 60wtq off less boost lol
I'm doing a GF wagon with suspension as the focus but I haven't decided on the motor yet. Either a semi built/stroked or something ej205 or a cammed/exhaust/intake etc EG33 with a nice drivetrain

I am sure you know this, but you can defeat the Airbag light with a couple resistors in the aigbag plug for the seats.
Who did the wiring? Did you splice the harness, or just use the entire 06 WRX harness? I am doing a very similar swap soon and I need all the info I can get!!
Bump for you!!

You just made me very sad.
Ya, the 3.3 ohm resistor should do the trick. That's what I did on mine.

I did all the wiring. I just used the 06 WRX harness and spliced for headlights, the roof wiring, tailights, doors etc. nothing hard at all
I had never looked into the airbag thing. If I was home and around the car I'd do it now, but im 1200 miles away at school and my family back home wouldn't do it lol
