FS: 1:24 scale slot car track (semi-non subie related)
No idea if anyone is into this but:
I have a 58 linear foot 1:24 scale slot car track for sale. It has 4 lanes with 2 banking turns. This isnt the plastic ones you see, it is similar to this.
The only reason i am selling is I have bought my house and being that my car will never sleep outside I just dont have room for it.
Its footprint is 15' x 10' L shape track. I have always built it on a 2x4 platform for storage underneath.
Built by one of the top track building groups Silky's, ran by Jim Silknitter, (my grandfather.)
Steel braiding is in great shape except at junction of 2 pieces, needs a little work
Comes with:
30' new steel braid
Power Supply 6v and 12v options.
8 slot cars (One of the cars being a subaru wrx)
3 controllers
Extra motors, wheels, parts to keep cars going.
Also have lap counter and monitor
Asking $2500 pretty firm,
This is a custom track, you will never see anything like it anywhere else. MOst tracks you see are copied from a varied 5-7 different blue prints.
will post pics later.
pics of the track will be hard to get because it is monserteus in size, and secrued to my garage wall at the moment. If there is serious interest I will def find a way to take a picture
