If you aren't wanting equal length because of the sound change,
sound is NOT the primary difference between equal and unequal length headers. It is a side effect of the efficiency difference between the two units.

Unequal length headers, like the factory ones, have different length runners from the two sides of the block. This results in an uneven distribution of exhaust pulses reaching the turbo.

Equal length headers allow the pulses to arrive at the turbo in a sequential and even flow, allowing the most efficient spooling of the turbo.

Because of this, equal length headers (assuming consistent runner diameter) will provide better spool and more overall power.

As important as the choice between equal and unequal length runners is the diameter of the runner. Big turbos can take advantage of large diameter primaries, but on a small turbo, excessively large primaries will result in poorer spool characteristics.

So in the end you should get this setup Mike!!! lol!
