FS: 05 STi Struts + Top Hats (Will Fit All WRX)
I have a set of 05 STi Struts and tophats for sale. The front struts were retrofitted for a 05 wagon, drilled out the ears on the front struts w/ a drill press, the rears fit w/ no modification. Very clean struts, 12k miles total. looking for 150 FIRM, will add pictures tomorrrow. PM me if you're interested.

Does not come with pictured springs. Keeping those.

edit* actually, I need to keep the tophats for my next set of suspension so this thread is for struts only.

Can you describe the wagon mod better? The pics I've seen comparing the sedan and wagon show a pretty big difference between the bolt holes. I would like to modify the sedan struts in my wagon (Tokico D-Spec) so I'm curious...
Thanks, Bill

Thanks for the pics. That looks like a different mod than I'd need with my '03 though. Sedan struts "fit" the wagon for '02-'03, but camber goes ~1 deg more positive.
Is this retrofit technically an STi to WRX or a sedan to wagon type deal? I always thought that the sedan struts on a wagon left you with a ton of positive camber up front (as Bumblebee03 notes), but maybe this is not the case for 2005.
The modded drill holes are vertical to the original, which suggests that it's more of a true 'fit' issue than an alignment issue. What kind of camber were you getting with these struts on your wagon?

STi to WRX. The previous owner used camber plates to adjust for his wagon camber issues but these will fit all wrx. I havn't personally ran these on any car, there were going to go on my GC8 but I opted for agxs instead.

You have to press out the front ears, the rears are the same. I have the rears on right now with wrx front and prokits all around. That settled it for me, I'm keeping these, they're awesome.
