I wouldn't risk it after 3 months! That's about the limit for storing gas, depending on the conditions it's stored in.

Wuh? I've never heard of it degrading that much in 3 months if stored properly?

Hell I've run gas after it's been stored untreated for YEARS.

3 months is what I've heard from people who store gas for emergencies. There is stabilizing additives that allow gas to be stored longer.

Yeah, but I've read that E85 sitting in a tank is not equal to E85 sitting in a plastic jar. Not sure if that's true.

Lots of variables. But yeah people are way paranoid about it and have always been but I've seen people do burn tests on 10 year old fuel and it still lights off.

3/4 gallons... toss that with 8-10 gallons of fresh fuel in your tank and I really don't see any tune really noticing the fall off of what would be 1 octane at the most. If you're tunes that sensitive you're probably tuned to aggressively anyways as gas varies that much anyways.

I'm no e85 guru but I'd have no issues with using regular fuel that was stored in containers mixed with new fuel.
