2004 STi Struts revalved by Feal Suspension

• Valving was tuned for stock STi springs
• Zerk fittings installed on the rear struts for easy regreasing to remedy the common clunk issue
• Used for a little over 2 years/24k miles
• No top hats included

Left front strut's high speed dampening seems out of wack where it crashes over sharp bumps and is overly firm/noisy in general. If you're willing to take them apart and are able to salvage them you'd have a nice set of dampers as the remaining 3 struts function fine. Feal no longer offers their rebuild service and I'm not aware of any other vendor who does.

Any idea why feal does not offer the revalve service anymore? I had always planned on getting the 04 sti shocks revalved for my car but for king lift springs.

 

Apparently there are parts in the damper that you can't get new replacements for and people were sending their high mileage units into their shop for the re-valve service in really bad shape so they decided to stop offering it.
