Free: 2012 STI Front Bumper Cover - Ice Silver Metallic

FREE: Just pick it up here in Dublin.

It's a 2012 STI Front Bumper Cover, Ice Silver Metallic. It has a bit of curb rash in the button (can't be seen from top), and has a crack that should be repairable (see pic, can't be seen, on the bottom). It has Clear Bra installed.

For the crack in the bottom, it can't be seen (bottom). - one can probably just epoxy it, or get it plastic welded.

Pick up only, not going to drag it anywhere.. Will give it about a week else it'll go in the trash..

The bumper has the mark "PP" which means it's made out of Polypropylene. Can be plastic welded.

Silverbullet -Yep, I got a new bumper from the dealership - 280$ brand new unpainted (no vendor will ship it). Then add 400$ to get it painted, and I still need to get it re-clear bra'd (more $$$). Not cheap - lol.. For people wanting to get the 2011+ look, this is a cheaper alternative. Getting the crack repaired is not big deal if you have a local shop that can do plastic welding. (eq. TAP plastics in Pleasanton). Considering you are converting, you'll need to buy the extra stuff like side vents, fog light cover, tow hook cover, and maybe the upper grill.

Tokuzo has dibs on the bumper and is picking it up today.

It's too much work to do a wide body swap, trust me. I've done lots of research and in the end it's not worth it. Way cheaper to just trade mine in and get a factory wide body...

The front is the easy part, just fender and a bumper. the rear... Not so much due to cutting and grafting panels, etc
