I'm happy to tune just about anything you bring in with tunable software. I definitely tune Subarus the most, but I also have a good deal of experience with Evo's, and VW/Audi. I can tune Cobb, OpenSource, and just about any standalone (Hydra, AEM, Motec, etc). We also plan on getting into several other makes in the next year. Thanks -- Ed |

Negative ;) I'm not a fan of piggy backs like the Xede or UTEC. With the current reflash options, the piggy backs are mostly obsolete IMO. Thanks -- Ed |

This is an 02 WRX that we had in last week. We swapped out his loud BPM TBE for a nice stealthy MadDad TBE with high flow cat. Then of course it was time for a re-tune. This car has:
MadDad Whisper TBE (Catted) Cobb SF Intake Inlet Y-Pipe Hallman MBC EQ Custom Tune on 91 Octane: This made really nice power for a quiet, catted setup! -- Ed |
This is an 05 WRX that we finalized yesterday. We tried to tune this car before, but the Blouch turbo was having some major boost creep. So ported the wastegate for the customer and everything works great now. This car has:
Blouch Big 16G DW650cc Injectors APS 65mm CAI STI TMIC Perrin Inlet Walbro Hallman MBC EQ Custom Tune on 91 Octane: Thanks -- Ed |
Here is a 2008 STI I tuned today:
Perrin Catted DP Magnaflow Catback Perrin Inlet Perrin Intake MadDad EL Headers/UP AVO Fuel Pump Hallman MBC EQ Custom Tune using Cobb AP V2 This was tuned on 91 Octane in about 55F weather. Peak boost is set at 19.5psi: I've been getting more and more stock turbo cars approaching the 300whp mark lately. The nice cold weather certainly helps with that, but I also believe we're starting to see better and more consistent setups all around. Thanks -- Ed |

This is an 09 WRX Sedan we tuned last week that made some very impressive power with a very simple setup.
- Invidia Catless TBE - Walbro Fuel Pump - Hallman Pro RX MBC - EQ Tuning Custom Tune at 18.5psi peak. Here's the chart: Thanks -- Ed |

Depending on setup and weather, I would expect around 275-280whp/310-315ft-lbs. Thanks -- Ed |

thanks for getting the clutch done for me.cant wait for the tune but i think im going to bring it in for a leak down/comp check |
Hey Ed, question. What is needed to change to E-85 instead of 91 octane? I was thinking of switching my 02 WRX and just wanted to know what I would need beforehand.
Hey Ed, question. What is needed to change to E-85 instead of 91 octane? I was thinking of switching my 02 WRX and just wanted to know what I would need beforehand.
All you really need to do is change the injectors and fuel pump really. It's super simple! And you can make HUGE numbers on E85, especially in torque. And yes Steven that was my bugeye you saw at EQ and that was the result! Bump for ED! |

Alright, cool. Thanks. Is there anyway to change back to 91 Oct. freely? I may do some driving to Fresno nd other places that are quite a ways away, nd it's hard to find stations that offer E-85. Anyway, thanks for the help. If anything, i'd just use a different car for longer trips, but just curious. |

Replacing the main harness will be at least a full day's work, so I'd expect 2-3 days downtime for everything. Thanks -- Ed |

You could switch back to 91 if you had an AccessPort or a tactrix cable/laptop. You would of course need to have a 91 map to switch to that will work with the larger injectors. You also have to be careful to run out as much gas as possible before switching to the other fuel type. Its not something you'll want to do all the time, but it is possible in a pinch. Thanks -- Ed |
