First off. I want to apologize to anyone that PM'd me. I had some major family issues around the time of this post that have since been resolved.

Second, after taking this motor off the pallet and putting this motor on a stand and really taking a hard look at this thing, it has some significant damage to the Passenger Side Case where the oil filter screws into the block. It will need a complete rebuild and is, possibly, not even worth saving. This repair would be a big undertaking.

I have an EJ25 short block from an 05' STI. The car was a friend's and it was totalled. Approximately 70K on the motor. It has some case damage at the oil filter location. It is NOT repairable damage.
I also have the heads for the motor. There is the possibility of a bent valve from the accident. Not sure which one and he has forgotten.
I also have lots of the motor's accessories....cam gears, valve covers, fuel lines, oil lines etc.
I can deliver this motor locally. I think it'd be a fun and challenging project for someone to put back together or keep as a spare. I have no time and extra money right now for gearhead stuff....especially this. I'd like it out of my garage and off my work bench.


$100 bucks for all of it or $150 delivered. (Depends on distance of course...my truck is a hog.)

Back on the grid bump. Looked around NASIOC and $500 seems like a really legit deal for an, almost, long block.

I'd like this out of my garage. :]

I really don't want to sell the short block.
