i'm not sure, but is that the "upgrade" version of it as in your ecu was initially reflashed by cobb already?

 

yes, I upgraded to the AP unit.

 

the ecu will delete the flash from my ECU and store inside to AP until reinstalled on a new ECU, then you will be able to switch maps

you should call cobb & make sure it'll work for ECUs that haven't been reflashed by cobb.

It will definitely work like a normal AP once it's unmarried.

 

okay ths is how it works...
1)I unistall the Base program/flash/map from my ECU
2)the base program will be "married" to the AP handheld till it is "re-married" to a new ECU
3)The buyer will then initialize the Accessport on their ECU
4)new user will select base map
5)As it states in Cobb's AP user's guide "Go Drive! Your vehicle is now AP enabled!"
