Well I think thats a lot of miles.... I don't want to bad mouth the RX-7's in general, nor do I want to discourage anyone from buying this guys friend's car but if it was mine I would throw in a fresh motor not too long after gettting the car. But even with a fresh motor you would be looking at a good solid 250hp for an extra $3000 or so off the original $4500 on the car. I think thats a good deal, I wouldn't drive the car every day... It would be my trailer queen.

well, considering rx 7 is a car notorious for blown engines (mainly due to track/drift abuse) i think the price is good for an rx7 minus engine. drop some bucks in and you've got an affordable sports car that has potential

No, Alex. No kit. Body is in perfect condition, interior looks like it just rolled outta the factory, engine starts but that's about it If I had a garage I'd want this to make a dyno queen/project car.

 

Oh damn. Uh, I might have 2 scoop this up. I only care about the chassis and from what you say, it's in good shape. I'll let u know.
