anyone???????? im bout to buy some jdm sti seats but the passenger seat doesnt have air bag sensors i need away to bypass them if someone knows please let me know

are you trying to bypass the bladder system in the 06+ models? If so you just remove the sensor/bladder from your stock seat and put it in the JDM seat. As for the side airbags, the resistor method should work.

cool thanks ima look in to both of those i have an 07wrx so i need to do both..... where can i find a 3.3 ohm resistor? do i gotta sauder it or somethin?

nah you can get these resistors that just pop right into the sensor plugs, ask subytech on these forums where you can get some, he would probably know and may have some.

cool thanks you guys have been helpful i cant wait o figure out this install and get these resistors........ im tryin to put a harness bar in behind the seats and get some 4 points gonna be dope thanks again and if you wanna sell me those resistors phoryu2nv

Try electronic surplus store. There's a few in San JO. Get a 3.3 ohm, 1 watt. Cost less than $0.10 each

Yes, there is a factory part that bypasses the airbag for $24.

cool thanks you guys are awsome im pickin the seats up saturday and doin the install so i hope all goes well. I called capitol subaru here and they said that there isnt a factory part that bypasses the airbag do u know what it is called 2kool? or maybe the part number? and i look in to the resistor i jus talked to a friend who know where they sell em so thanks again guys il let you know how i t works out.

so i was looking around and some places i looked said that i need to disconnect my battery before i take my seat out is this true? and will that reset my ecu? that concerns me because i have my car dyno tuned so would that mess with how i have my car tuned????
