No they are not the same. The 2.0 are black and the 2.5 are gray.
Either one will fit and "work", but it is not advised to use the 2.5 packs on the 2.0 or visa versa. It gets a bit technical, but from what I have read on it, it can cause problems.

Yes i have 4 packs from a 2.0 05 wrx

 

Still have 4 coil packs to an 05 WRX n 3 for an 06

 

I'm running grey ones off a 2.5 in my 2.0 nothing wrong so far

 

The boot lengths are different. The dwell times are also different. The dwell times may not be a large enough difference to hurt any thing, but I'm not sure.
