These are Central Tool Co inside and outside METRIC micrometers. These are old US manufactured mics, not to be confused with the cheap Harbor Freight tool line with a similar name. The outside mic set includes 0-25mm, 25-50mm, and 50-75mm mics as well as 25mm and 50 mm standards. The outside mics have friction thimbles. The inside mic set goes from 40 to 150 mm (1.5-6") and includes a 5 inch long handle. Both sets come in a padded fitted case. The mics are in good condition but do have some surface rust spots here and there and the foam padding in the cases is starting to fall apart. Most of the stuff that looks like rust in the pictures is actually foam that is stuck to the mic, which is easily cleaned off. The 25-50 and 50-75mm mics have some rust on the faces, which could be stoned off. I have never been able to figure out how to zero these but it probably can be done. There is no vernier scale on the barrels and so the resolution is only .01mm, not .001mm.

The outside mics alone are worth $50, so it's like you are getting the inside mics for FREE
