Built 2004 JBP FXT Partial Partout

Hello All -

I was rearended on SB101 last Thursday, April 7. It resulted in a total loss as far as insurance is concerned, and I've already been compensated + bought the car back. As such, I am parting out most of it. I'd prefer to keep it local, so I am cross-posting my subaruforester.org thread here:

http://bit.ly/fFF9hH

Mods, if you'd prefer I edit this to simply include the listing contents, I am happy to do so. I did it this way in the interest of time. Just PM me if you'd like it changed.

Thanks,
Walter.

bump for Walter,

Don't worry, I'm sure whatever Walter's next ride will be . . . it will be just as clean.

Thanks for the positive comments dudes - it's heartbreaking, but at the end of the day it's just stuff, and you can't be buried with it. Can't believe I'm saying this.

And yes, the next project will indeed be sparklingly clean!

OK folks - I have been inundated with PMs on 3 different forums now, so I am starting an excel spreadsheet to keep track of who is asking for what, and in what order.

FYI - Local, cash pickup will take first priority regardless of order!

Larger items can be palletized and sent truck freight or FedEx ground - not a problem.

To clarify one more thing, if someone wants to come buy the whole thing I am looking for $8k or best REASONABLE offer. You may think I am crazy, but I've dumped $25k into this car including its purchase price in the last 14 months. It still runs great and drives straight, just has a bunch of body damage!

So, if someone with more time than I have wants to buy it and continue soldiering on with a partout of this nature after using the drivetrain to make a beast of a SF or GC swap, let's help each other out. Or, if you're a paint/body guy and want to fix and drive or sell a sweet FXT, you could probably do so for much less than my auto insurance appraiser thought it required.
