Brand new freshly build RA 5sp transmission

We built this for an out of state customer who due to the inherent BO nature of these gears currently ended up going to a 6sp, he has asked us to sell the transmission for him. It's freshly built from new RA gears in his core transmission ready to bolt in.

The customer is asking $2200 obo cash only as it's his transmission not GST's.

We can offer installation for anyone looking to have it installed.

No. The RA gear set puts you in spool better than the stock gears.

Although many say you don't need a tune, I strongly believe it's good to get one.

For what? The transmission doesn't make the engine run different. I'm no expert in tuning so lemme know if I'm I missing something here...

The loading is a little different due to the difference in gear ratios, a good tune should be fine with them but it certainly doesn't hurt to remap the car for the new transmission.

It uses and outie type axle (02-03 WRX) where your car uses an innie (04+), I have plenty of those kicking around so would be more than happy to swap the axles with you. Other than that it's direct bolt in.

I would think this transmission would be a perfect match for your setup, with the gearing can you say instant response!

Basically the gears are always out of stock waiting on the next batch to be imported explains the "inherent BS nature"

As Josh stated above this unit is a 0 miles brand new unit freshly built into a owners core.

What's the gear ratio & FD on this transmission? I was looking at getting a 6-speed + shorter gears for my RS but this might fit the bill.
