are these the stock brakes that come on the 06 WRX?

 

They are essentially the same. Differences are basically the caliper housing is smooth and red on the 06 WRX, where as these have the raised up SUBARU lettering and are not painted.

I'd pick em up, but too hot and lazy to drive and that $560 wouldn't cover the difference in price for gas and my time, I guess you get a free bump.

Just to add some insult to injury....

I have a buddy that has an 02-03 WRX. He upgraded to the 4pots, then later to the STi Brembos....

Later he stated that he really didn't feel that much of a difference to justify the costs of the Brembos....

For those sitting on the fence on these....the 4-pots are an outstanding value.
Have them on my 02 wagon with stocker brakes on the rear, I do notice a little difference between my car's braking and an 06 WRX...but only slight, and I think it is because I need to bleed mine down.
