Yeah I can work on pics for interested parties. Yeah the smaller(rear) shocks dont look like the normal strut/spring combo like the GC's/GD's.

 

The BE/BH Legacy was the first to use the multilink rear suspension AFAIK. They couldn't use any rear suspension stuff from earlier generation Subarus. That's likely why it looks different than your typical Subaru suspension.
