Batman Begins Diecast Toy

Hey,

Is anyone on this board into the whole die cast collectible thing? If so, I have a question for you. I just picked up a Batman Begins Diecast toy package at the store - It's labeled Batcopter, but inside is a Batmobile!

Do you know if this would be worth collecting and maybe selling in the future?

I dont think so. Its quite easy to open the package and put something else in without dmg. Many collectors know that if you put a small amount of Acetone on the backside of the seal, you can peal apart the package without dmg. Then to reapply without notice, just use superglue!

My dad and I customize Hotwheels. This is how I know.

Yeah, but it came from the store this way - I have the receipt. So, you are saying that if it is a real-deal item, then it would be worth something?

Errors from the factory are almost always worth more than the regular thing. But now a days, there really is no way to tell if you have a genuine article.

You should look around online diecast forums and send out some emails. Maybe your not the only on out there with this rarety.

Good luck.

Yeah I may try that - I was with my son at Target looking at toys for him, and I just happened to glance over at the Batman stuff and seen two packages that showed Bat-Helicopter, except one had a heli-copter while the other had a car!
