I feel your pain brother! Very tempted though after seeing this unit in action in Matt Cowger's car.

 

I had something similar with my fiancee a while back when I first got my Mio, then again, it's no where near the price of the D3. But after using it for a while, she too agree it was worth the money and like it alot. Maybe show her all the cool features on D3 and she might be okay to let you keep it.

I showed my fiancee this unit (D3) and all the features as well. She thought it was very nice and don't mind getting one either. Just that we both agreed it's not the best place to spend our money at the moment.
