Any interest in a 2004 wrx motor? Full long block
Hey guys, since i will be building a full long block, figured i should see if anyone would be interested in a complete 2.0 2004 wrx long block, short block, heads, intake manifold and engine harness. it has about 110k miles, I havent replaced the timing belt yet but I can do that once i pull the motor out. I have always used mobile one 10w40 synthetic oil.
The motor does not burn any oil nor does it have any rod knock or issues. I also plan on doing a compression test/leakdown test. Looking to probably get 1800 without the timing belt done or 2000 with new timing belt and tensioner.

Not that good a deal. Blown motor... I see them go for $4000 with working motors. Gonna cost at least $2000 to put a different motor in it and $5000 if you do a rebuild. Hell I'd be lucky to get $5 for my wagon and it's got way more stuff on it. Haaaa.
The only upside was the recent tranny work. $2k would have been a good deal in my book.
Now if you happened to have an extra motor sitting around... then $3k's a good deal. LOL!

U can have the motor out in a few days but wanted to leave it in so people can test drive it to make sure they know its in good running condition.
