thats surprising for a pdx amp to have this problem. what kind of wires were you running and how old is the amp?

no idea how long this thing has been in there as it came with the car...but Ernie and Sound Innovations helped me diagnose it to make sure that it is the amplifier causing the problem. Already replaced it with the newer model, the F4 and sure enough, everything works fine now

it says obo! lol...but it still operates as a normal amp (still powered my speakers but just that annoying start-up problem i can't stand) after turning the volume up and sound comes on, you can lower it back down, thats the only problem with the amp.

im running the dnx9140, i have no idea if the internal amp is still on or not, but now with the F4 installed, my system works perfectly fine and turns on at low volumes unlike this pdx 4.100 which has that problem
