Existing tunes are not a selling point. Using a tune made for one car on another, even with identical mods, is outright dangerous.

It is the buyer's choice if they want to use these tunes or not. I'm only stating they are available in the AP and this AP is specific for an '06 STi.

This ap should fit other vehicles as well if im not mistaken. I assume you meant the tunes that are not off the shelf are for an 06 sti only?

Will not work. the 02-04 wrx is pretty specific to the sub-001. while the 2.5 liters are the sub-002 and the newer cars like 08+ wrx and lgt are sub-003

 

Those designations only apply to the V2. The V1 is different. But no, it will not work.

As far as the custom tunes being used at the buyer's discretion, the reason I brought it up is because it's used as a selling point and if someone else uses it they could end up replacing their engine.

Unfortunately the V1 will only work for the car it is designated for (in this case only 06 STi). The tunes are also specific to the '06 Sti and basemaps are also available in the AP.

 

Whoops! Just checked the manual for the AP V1: it does work for 04-06 STi's. For WRX's it's only specific to the '06. Bump!
