My friend crashed his recently acquired 2.5RS... In an attempt to get some money back out of it, he's decided to part it out with my help. All the parts are in Oakland for pickup. Shipping small parts may be an option, but I'd like to avoid it. Anyway, here's the parts list. I'll update the thread as the availability of parts changes.

The car:

The car is a black 1998 2.5RS 2 door, 5 spd, 155k miles, with damage to the passenger side rear. This means most of the rear suspension parts are useless. The front end, however, is in perfect condition. Please PM me with reasonable offers, this stuff will go quickly so please don't waste my time with super lowball offers, and I won't waste yours.

The parts list:

*Fenders: Both in good condition, good black paint, one small dent on drivers side.
*Sideskirts
*Catback exhaust system (mandrel bent), looks to be 2 1/4 inch, with resonator and muffler (supposedly Apex-i)
*Clear fender side blinkers
*Most interior parts (No carpet or seats)
*Rear Wing and trunk. The trunk is slightly messed up, but better than yours if you got rear ended or something and need a cheap replacement.
*Center console with armrest
*Shift boot with red stitching
*Gauge cluster with digital odometer
*Turn signal / wiper stalks
*Newish Napa battery
*Rear view mirror
*Front bumper
*Doors (drivers door has a 6" long scrape / dent on the bottom of the door)

I am intersted in these parts. How bad is the passenger side skirt?

 

Even though the rear is toast, what about the rear upper spring perches? I would bet that even with the strut broken that these might still be usable? I am looking for some. PMed you about it.

Pat, the steering wheel isnt anything special.. If you actually want it, let me know.

Rat, if you call me tomorrow after 3 you can come by and grab the floormats and armrest.

Stratos: We might be trying to have the car "rollable" for as long as possible. So if you need the strut tops right away, you might want to look elsewhere for a quicker solution. I would assume they're ok, but you never know.. I'll take a closer look and get back to you.

ommmjido: I got another offer for $150 for the 3 goldies from someone on CL. I'll prioritize i-club offers though, so let me know if you are interested.

Owlboogie: The drivers side one is in good condition, the passenger side one is kindof separated (they come apart in 2 pieces, it mayhave ripped some of the mounting points from the accident)
