Thumbs up 2005 crystal gray WRX STi (56k warning!)

hi,

thinking of selling my STi. too many cars, too few garages. once my M3 is back from service, I wont have a garage for one of the two unless I kick out another one of my cars.

the car was purchased in miami florida and driven back cross-country to pleasanton, CA, but not before the addition of an invisible paint protection bra. it is all over the front end and prevented the beautiful crystal gray metallic paint from chipping. the install was done by autosupershield, the premiere shop for clear bra installation in Florida. its said that this guy's the 2nd best clear bra installer in the world, the first best being in Atlanta GA.

i did the initial break in very carefully in Miami, and varied engine speeds for the first thousand miles up and down the revs on Florida's turnpike. lots of accel/decel cycles to properly seat the piston rings and ensure the engines reliability and peak performance, but no redline as per dealer recommendations. just a careful break in ensuring that the engine sealed right before driving it cross country. why did we drive it cross country? cause we had never done it before! the drive back to CA was incredible... we did it in a week, so it wasn't too rushed. the drive was very enjoyable...

as you can see, the car has been maintaned very well for the 4400 miles I've had it, 95% of which have been highway. my reason for the early oil changes was simple: it can't hurt to keep the engine's oil as clean as possible... especially a new engine's since its still not broken in yet. if new engines create metal shavings during break in, better get them out asap... hence the first oil change at 152 miles... and the second one three hundred miles later.

maintenance:
oil change at 152 miles with regular oil
oil change at 460 miles with regular oil, filter change
oil change at 3500 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w-30, filter change
always premium gas

the options include the factory short shift kit, armrest extension storage bin, 2005 oem stereo, etc. the car is immaculate... the guys who attend the weekly meets can attest to this...

im pretty firm on my asking price of $30800. the car is 2 1/2 weeks old.

thanks for looking guys!

forgot to mention--the Lehman auto world badge is simply a bunch of stickers that peel off readily.

the car comes with a set of genuine subaru wheel locks, too. the dealer threw in some generic black floor mats in case you want them.

i am told the plastics on the clear bra are very durable. they will last 10 years before yellowing, and the clear bra is removable with a blowdryer if you really dont like it.

Saw car in person, super nice car and a decent deal. I would consider buying, but too much $$ invest in my car and no extra $$.

Didn't you realize you wouldn't have garage space when your parents....I mean when you bought this car?

If garage space is the only issue, why not just leave the car outside?

Play nice Zoeb, or I'll put you in the corner. This is a nice ride. I saw it at UCKK ( I was the other yellow one ). The color is awesome. Good luck with the sale.
