2002 WRX for sale

Well the time has come to sell my baby. As much as i would love to keep it. I had to purchase a new car for my work drive. I could not see wasting my WRX on a lame a** comute. My plan is to buy an STI in 2007 to pamper again. the price is negotiable, but the car has extras as listed in the add. I would much rather someone from the club got it than someone who would not give it the love.

Please take a look at it here... http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true

Don't know about 20k for an 02. My 04 would only sell for 18-20k and it's in near perfect condition.

KBB Private Party Value is $14,535, and since things are going for under book these days, I'd guess you'll get $15-16k (since it's got some decent mods and extended warranty).

yeah $20k for an 02 with over 67k miles is asking a lot. this is, of course, just my opinion.

Retail Value Search Local Listings for This Car $18,295
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history . This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions.

Just because my asking price is high does not mean I am! Price is not what something is worth but, what someone is willing to pay grasshopper.

I am in no rush to sell because I love the car. I would just rather not pay insurace for a car i only drive on fridays.

Don't compare the price to what you would pay as you are car buffs. But look at the price's for other WRX's on line. "the price is negotiable" was mentioned in my post.

How much do you love your WRX?

even though price is what you are willing to sell for, you dont sell retail goods since you arent a retailer. you are not a dealer.

Economy 101

Price’s is not set buy the seller. It is set buy the buyer. It is what it is worth to the purchaser.

When the WRX first came out there was a large “mark up” on it due to “supply & demand”.
As with all commerce (not regulated) the price is what someone is willing to pay for a product.
Do you feel you’re paying too much for gas?

I don’t expect to get 20k for the car. Duh! It is only what I feel it is worth. If you don’t want it … Don’t buy it.
On the other hand… You are all asking too little for your cars. Raise the price, and the market will have to respond.

However if you all have nothing better to do with your life than cap on my asking price & an occasional misspelled word. Party on!
