2002 WRX 2.0 Engine North Bay - Now with portable engine stand!
So up for sale is my 2002 WRX 2.0L Motor.
Now comes with portable engine stand!
400 Delivered for everything within a reasonable distance!
In December of 2009, while I was driving home, I noticed my motor was making a lot of movement. I knew I was burning a lot of oil. About quart every 1200. Which was very odd for my motor because it used to burn maybe half quart ever 3k. So finally at 140,xxx I took it in to LIC and they did a compression and leak down. Thank you Noah for taking me in last minute. So he told me my options. I contemplated for a while. I had a buddy with a shop and lift. So I opted for the Version 8 Spec C motor and swapped it in myself. Before I did that. I tore down the motor, sent the heads into a shop had them clean them up and pressure test them.
Results were the notorious cylinder spark plug crack thing. It was on the driver side. I believe cylinder #3. It has been many years so I don't recall exactly. So anyway one head is great other is bad. If I recall correctly, pressure test was 101, 103, 90, 105, respectively.
So I would like to sell the whole motor and parts, there are extra parts and wiring harnesses in there. I know everything is there. It is just everywhere. The only thing off is the A/C Compressor is from the Spec C and no flywheel or clutch.

Headers with shields
Uppipe
Intake Manifold
Stock Turbo
Stock Intercooler
Base Motor Short block
2.0 Heads, left and right. Machined, all supporting parts also already cleaned up and tested.
Cams and everything needed
Can't list everything, cause it is a complete motor, just all torn down. Every nut and bolt should be there also.
This would be great for someone to use for parts or build a monster motor.
