I bought this back in March but haven't done anything to it since. It's been sitting at Auto Headquarter waiting for it's turn to be swapped. The headgasket is blown, estimated repair about a Grand and you'd have a good runner...
I'm no longer interested in doing anything with it so I'm offering it up for sale again at a loss.
Below is the link to the original ad with pictures. It looks essentially the same except that it now has 2005 WRX seats in it, well, not in it but they come with it... currently the interior is partially taken apart in preperation for the swap but that's all that's been done. It no longer has the Sub and Amp.
It's a straight body, no accidents, clean title.

Im selling my Silverthorne 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS
I need to sell it fast (I ship to boot camp in 2 weeks). Its got 128k miles on it, I've done all the maintainence myself including the wheel bearings ~ 110k miles (I worked at a shop in Carson at the time), all fluids, and regular oil changes. Runs good.
It does need a little work, Subaru clearcoat sucks ***, as you may or may not know, it will need a respray in the front eventually. It has all seasons on it right now that have a mild flat spot to them, so they need to be replaced or shaved. Driver side window motor needs to be swapped (It works, but is finicky).
Car comes with an Alpine head unit w/ ipod adapter, components front and rear, and a 12 inch kicker sub powered by a 800W Audiobahn amp (won it in a rally, i didnt buy it :P). STI short throw shifter w/ cartboy bushings, really crisp shift. Rotora rotors + Axxis pads, and goodridge steel braided lines. The brakes are actually a bit much for the tires that are on the car, but thats another story. Car's rollin on early Impreza L 15" wheels. The car has JDM STI rear spats, painted the same color as the car. I also have STI foglight covers for the front that come with the car. The car has remote lock/alarm, and Lojack.

it's got Rotora (?) rotors on it according to the original seller... but I don't see why they wouldn't.
And no, I'm not asking for $7000. That was the original price, I paid less but then I had it shipped up here.
I think he knew the headgasket was blown. I took him on his word that the car ran well. *shrug*

just found this out... but seeing as how I haven't driven it more than a week he must have known.
I don't mind sitting on the car until I can do something with it but I want to get it out of Kevins lot.
If I come across another wrecked WRX though I may just swap it. Who knows. Don't really care at the moment.
I'd give this as partial trade to someone for a Forester...
