they will work fine. its just 4 8mm nuts holding the charge in place. just swap it over and your good to go. only thing is wiring up your cruise control.

No worries, if you can help someone to install it then they'll probably buy it.

I'm this said co-worker of anthony's. If the steering wheel is an early 05 model with the single pin, then it's basically plug and play with the exception of re-wiring the cruise control. Mine was a single pin but we couldn't figure out how to unplug the wire, so I just swapped my 02 charge into the STi wheel. If it's a later model with a dual pin, then just swap your 02 charge, and wah-la!

For the cruise control re-wire, it's:

05 cruise control - old cruise control

Green - Green
Yellow - White
White - Yellow

Edit: I forgot to mention that I absolutely LOVE the feel of the STi wheel compared to the stock wrx wheel. It's only 10mm smaller, but the leather feels sturdier, and the grip is excellent. It's definitely a great mod which will make driving more enjoyable.

Sure, it's not really that hard. Just have to solder or crimp three wires, and swap the charges. Just make sure to disconnect your battery otherwise your airbag might go off.

bump for you.
