05 STI Drivetrain
Hi all,
Well, I am halfway through an 05 STI swap on my beloved 99RS:
http://www.rs25.com/forums/f128/t126...w-400-whp.html
One day I saw that Ben was selling his race-car, which is almost done:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1932078 and I am buying it.
I don't know what I am doing with my RS...but I am not going to finish the swap right now. So I would like to sell the drivetrain. All parts have about 60k on them. Not going to ship....Pick up in Fairfeild, or meet up in Bay Area only! You get a lower price if you buy more stuff....and you get even a lower price if you have the guys at EQ install it....obviously the lower prices do not include the cost to have the items installed!! Prices and a couple of pictures:
05 STI Drivetrain (SOLD):
05 STI 6-Speed Transmission (SOLD)
05 STI Axles (SOLD)
05 STI Rear Diff (SOLD)
05 STI Driveshaft (SOLD)

Suspension stuff:
05 STI Front & Rear Cross Members 200

Oh...because they are awesome
Other than general awesomeness, they have been really accommodating with my swap project, and incessant phone calls asking stupid questions. I take up a lot of space at the shop (2 rolling GC swap projects now, and the remnants of the car that this stuff came off of), and they don't charge me rent. I think that the least I could do is throw a little business their way...and besides, installing this stuff can be a little dangerous if you don't have the right tools so I figure rather than having a fellow member screw something up I would rather just cut them a deal to have it installed safely.
