Bump. want this stuff gone. moving out soon and would rather have it gone by then.
ADDING: Harbor Freight triple gauge set (water temp, oil press, AMMERE). i just bought a complete 5 gauge set from glow shift after my oil pressure hose sprung a leak. oil pressure gauge and light works fine, its the hose that a POS. (tiny coiled up white plastic tube). i heat wrapped the white tube. there is no leak at either gauge or temp pressure sensor at block. the leak is somewhere along the plastic line (kink, rip, ?), but the heat wrap carries the leaking oil to the oil gauge and the pressure sensor. if you can find a substitute hose for the white plastic one, it will work 100%. ive seen a couple threads on here of people making there own pressure gauge and using grease gun hose. i was going to install Ammere gauge as well until i did some more research and found out the diff between Ammere and Volt meter. ther water temp gauge was never used.
$20 for the triple gauge (3 gauges, metal mount used as ground, instructions, hardware)
if you are interested and would like help installing, let me know and ill help you out.
I also have a basic volt meter from harbor freight. i bought this after realizing diff bwteen the two meters...did a little more looking around online and settled on a set from glowshift (IMO best bang for your buck on an NA). comes with 5 gauges of your choice, a pillar pod, wiring kit. 7 color LED. all for 300. has the same look as Defi gauges IMO. i prefer the gauges that just light up from behind the lettering. these also are tinted, so you cant see the gauges when turned off. with this kit also, it comes with an electrical oil pressure sending unit. ANYWAYS.....the voltmeter i bought from HB was never installed and was going to return it (did not come with bulb) i paid 15 for it, but if someone has some bulbs that will fit, its all good.
$10 for the voltmeter gauge.
$25 for triple gauge set and voltmeter.
great deal for those of you toggling the idea of gauges and dont want to spend $$$$$$ on Defis.
