*long shot* FS: 2000 Impreza 2.5rs in *CANADA*

Importing this thing is a *****. Posted around but thought if anyone wants a nice car and feels like making a trip the car will definitely not have a problem driving you home!

This is copy/pasted from my CL ad.. car has 117k miles. Asking $13,500 but you can make me an offer

2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS coupe, Silverthorne Metallic. 2nd owner.

This thing is my baby. I have moved to Vancouver, BC Canada and the cost of importing is too much money and hassle for me to be worth it. This car has been babied since I bought it (55k miles). It is a California registered car, but I have the title and I believe all that needs to be done is for me to sign the title to you and write out a bill of sale. That is good for the border too. You would need to come to Vancouver to pick up the car.

Mobil 1 oil every 3,000 miles. Clean Title. No Accidents. Polish and waxed at least twice a year, usually waxed more than that. Interior is very nice, driver seat has some fade and wear as usual. No rips tears or anything like that.

The new: (Over $4000 worth of needed maintenance DONE)
  • New tires (%70 left)
  • new rotors
  • NEW CLUTCH (6 months)
  • NEW TIMING BELT (less than 5k miles ago)
  • NEW HEADGASKET (less than 5k)
  • valve adjustment (< 5k)
  • new belts (< 5k)
  • new spark plugs and wires (< 5k)

The car runs like it was brand new, no stuttering through the RPM's, engine is as smooth as it was when it was new.

The car is all stock. I haven't made any performance modifications to the car.

  • 4cyl boxer engine
  • 5 speed manual
  • power doors/windows
  • power sunroof
  • A/C
  • Stock Subaru Alarm
  • Alpine CD player
  • Alpine speakers front and rear
  • Tinted rear windows
  • over 30mpg on freeway

Issues: (I can take pictures of the scrapes on request)
  • There is a check engine light code P0420 due to the catalytic converter being bad. Doesn't affect performance, just annoying. Would probably have to replace before getting car smogged though.
  • A few small door dings.
  • Scrape above rear passenger wheel well.
  • Small scrape on the passenger door.
  • Missing 1 fog light assembly. The other fog light assembly is cracked and the bulb is burned out.
  • Car is originally from Colorado so there are alot of small chips in the paint from rocks on the front bumper and the very front of the cars hood.

Despite these the car still looks BEAUTIFUL, it is in very good shape.

Please e-mail me pjeske at gmail dot com.

Any more pictures you want available on request.

Just posting what I've seen similar cars go for vs what I would like to get for it. Of course I'm open for negotiation
