Here we go again lol..

Rota wheels are just fine. Many race teams use them for track/racing use.

The only real downfall seems to be that they are heavier than their non-replica counterpart. Great price point though.

They used to be junk city, but they have gotten better over the years. They used to break often, but this is no longer the case. The biggest area they are still lacking in is their finish. They quality of the paint and the paint job on them can be quite lacking.

for the price of a brand new set, you can find some works in that price range used. IF you get a deal on them, I say definitely go for it, like I did.

Ive never had a problem with my rota's. I've used two sets now with zero problems. My current wheels are powder coated and still hold up fine. The good thing about rota's is the sizes that are available compared to the "real" wheels, especially if you plan on going "hellaflush" or run a wide setup with a wide tire also.

I've been using 16x7 Rota Slipstreams for years. I have two sets, one on the car and one in storage as spares. Been happy with them. They are no longer made, there was a 16x8 as well but I don't know if those are available any more either.
As for weight, these particular wheels are 13.5 lbs. which is considerably lighter than the OEM 16" wheels for the '02.

I'm currently running Rotas right now and I'm fairly pleased with how they are. They look great and the price is pleasing. I do agree with Superusdm though, they are heavy imo. It all really comes down to what your budget is and your purpose. Here's the set I'm currently running.
