newbie from Elk Grove

Hi guys,

I've only been lurking here for few years....anyway I've had my WRX 4-door base sedan for exactly a year this month. I got almost 15K miles and loving the power it delivers. It's all stock. I'm still on the warranty stage so i don't want to put mods yet. But after watching many peeps mods their car, can't help to imagine what mods should I upgrade now or continue to wait...

Anyway, I'm newbie to Turbo. But I've been a AWD WRX fan since I test drove one back in 2004 WRX. I said, "I've got to have one of this!!!" That day was exactly 1 year ago. Before I drove RSX-S modded but had to sell it after our first baby, 95 Altima, and 05 SCION. Finally, I decided to go with WRX So far so good while its keeping young:-)

Welcome! I would recommend a drop in Panel Air Filter like AEM or Perrin and a Catback Exhaust if your worried about warranties. Those two moods will not cause you to loose your warranty under the Magnuson-Moss Act.

I appreciate the info.

I was thinking of doing AEM CAI my first mod with COBB AP. No TBE since I hate loud noises.
