Newbie of a 2011 Subie

What's up everyone, I'm new here. I just purchased a 2011 STi. I'm actually trying to find out on how I can get me some jdm recaro seats. The 2011 recaro's?

Welcome to the site. I am pretty new myself, but so far everyone seems pretty cool. I hope you enjoy your 2011 sti. Did you get the sedan?

Join the club, i have been looking to get OEM recaros since 2008
Basically not do-able, unless you have money to burn, like ~4k before shipping, then you can try finding some in Japan, but shipping will be the issue due to explosive airbags....

...hmmm, i've looked at this myself, but i didn't think the STI Recaros had side air bags.

which basically meant, "for the money", you were better off just getting a Recaro (or brand of your choice) seat locally and just do the airbag resistor mod...

If it's true that the JDM STI Recaros had SAB already...i'd be very interested in where that's available.

I really don't mind spending the cash, having it to pass US customs is what I'm concerned about.
