New rex owner from the bay
Hey everyone, I'm Joe.
Been a fan of Subarus and especially the WRX/STI ever since college when the bugeyes came out. My good buddy is on his second WRX, and I finally joined the club last Saturday when I picked up my 14' DGM hatch WRX. Love the smooth engine, power and grip. Fortunately the interior and features seem modern to me since I've usually driven older cars.
For the last 3 years I've been DDing an 04' Mazdaspeed Miata, which will be my track car. It has Wilwood 4 pots up front, 15x8 Enkei PF01's and I have some Xida Clubsports (miata tuned AST's) waiting to go on the car after I overhaul the bushings and maybe swap the engine for something...
Previous to that I was driving an 85' Porsche 944 for about 10 years, but finally got sick of the 300k+ mile chassis and rebuilding the top end so I picked up the miata.
