New from North Jersey

Hey guys im new on here.

To start off im an 18 year old mechanical engineering major at County College of Morris.

I started working on cars when i was little with my father dating back to when i was a few years old handing him tools.

i have done a lot of work on cars through out the years from engine swaps, trans swaps, and a lot of other stuff.

for my 17 birthday i was given my mothers old car, a silver subaru impreza wagon with a 5speed 2.2L base model.

I used to go to autocross events with my father (he drives a 1998 subaru legacy gt wagon. not your typical autocross car. but has a lot of stuff done to it and will out run a lot of modded wrx's on curvy roads.)
i want to get my car ready to auto cross as well.

right now it has
front and rear cobb tuning strut tower braces
+1 sport edition wheels that are also 1" wider
cobb poly shifter mount and cobb shifter disks.

i was curious if you guys had any suggestions for me because im on a really tight budget right now.
or home brew mods that can be done to get the car rolling better.
i has access to a lathe and mill as well

do you know what years will also be close to fitting my year impreza because most places don't make parts for my generation anymore or at least i can find

Thanks Calvin
