Hi folks!
Been driving subarus for a while, but just upgraded from a forester to a 2012 DGM WRX STI. Loving every bit of it - hopped onto this forum because the local bay area forum seems more active and reading every post about these cars is just plain fun.
I'm also on iwsti and nasioc.
trying very hard to resist the mod bug and give it a while but it's really hard.

Pics? Sure thing!
This one is on day of pickup from order. I was so damn excited

Some of the non-performance/drivetrain mods i've done:
heat reflective tape on teh Intercooler, an SPT heatshield with reflective tape on the underside, and intake silencer removal (put it back in today tho)

my STI floor mats (cant believe how excited i was over floor mats)

I'm data logging my MPG in different modes. I've found with how i drive and my commute, that S# is the most fuel efficient

Hey man welcome, same thing over here, I decided the most responsible thing to do is to stick to suspension upgrades until I'm sure there aren't any factory defects in the engine that might pop up. I can't afford to mod my car and have it blow up because factory malfunction and then my warranty is gone.
Save the hp mods till your comfortable with the car, on the other hand sway bars are amazing!
