Hey all, my name is Mason. Born in San Jose, grew up in San Martin, and after 20 years of wandering, am back in Cali living in Los Banos. I've owned an 05 LGT Wagon 5MT, an 00 RS 2.5 Coupe 5MT, and currently my wife has a '12 Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium 5MT.
This just happened today:
Jane is a 2007 Subaru Forester XT Limited 5MT, with the understated Aspen White Pearl exterior over a supple Desert Tan leather interior. Jane came to me at 93560 miles, and I am her 4th owner. The first owner purchased her from Carlsen Subaru in Redwood City, and put 70K easy miles on her round tripping from the Bay Area to the Tahoe ski resorts. She was then passed down to the first owners daughter early in 2012, who didn't like the clutch and traded her in on a minivan. The third owner found her on lot in Merced, and recognized the car as being previously owned by his Tahoe neighbor, owner #1. Owner #3 purchased her in December of 2012, and performed all the work listed below. The work was done at Mann Engineering in Santa Clara, service performed by Norm's in South Lake Tahoe.
Currently Jane is riding on newer 225/45-18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports mounted on el cheapo Kazzera wheels, but her OE wheels are mounted with Goodyear Assurance M&S in 225/50-17 with plenty of life as well. Swift Sport lowering springs on OE struts, Whiteline F/R sway bars, and upgraded steering rack bushings keep her cornering straight, true, and quick. Inside, a Cobb short shifter keeps the rowing to a minimum, and Weathertech mats keep the mess down. Her growl is supplemented by a Milltek 3" SS catback exhaust, and to round out her attitude, a Cobb AccessPort v2 is flashed to Stage 1. Subtle tinting rounds out the whole package.

I subscribed to that thread, and actually set it to email when new posts are added. I think I work on the 19th, but I'll definitely be attending meets in the future.
I just finished titling and registration. Jane is now a resident of Amador County, with all of the smog checks that DO NOT come with being a resident there!
