new to i-club 411 about me.
Hello. My name is shawn. I do not have a subaru yet. I have been researching and have found myself in love with subaru's. Mainly the wrx sti. It has everything i have been looking for, performance, turbo set ups, suspension and handleing. For the past almost 4 years. I have a Scion tc and a 2nd gen xb. Once the tc is paid off i will be ivesting into a new wrx sti. I have also been into the car show scean heaveyly since i got the tc and the xb. I am looking forward to learning more and attending car shows with my sti in the near future.

2006 is the best year STI to buy if you're interested. 2007 STi's had a bad factory tune.
There have been people who have put on 19's, but its not very popular. Probably because it hurts performance (heavy) and don't look that great. 18's are the way to go imo.
**edit: however check out Subydude's pics of 19's on his STI. those actually look good. welcome to i-club

welcome
first off welcome to the club!!!!, also to add to the comment of the 07 vs 06 sti debate, ok i have a 07 so i may be very partial to the 07's but i wouldnt worry about factory tune so much because soon as you get one your more than likley going to mod it. if your still worried do what i did and get a road tune from ed @eqtuning, and be happy!!!
Welcome! Good luck with the car search!
Everyone on i-club is really nice, they should be able to offer some sage-like advice!
I have an 07 as well [so I am also partial], and I agree with what "subybullet" said about not worrying about the factory tune/re-tuning as soon as you get it, thats what I did and I haven't looked back
