new to i-club
wrecked my 05 wrx and just bought 2003 impreza outback sport. looking to make it a project build and would like help knowing all parts i would need for a turbo. new headers etc . i found a kit with the following: Garrett T25 turbo/wastegate. mandrel bent up pipe. downpipe w/ gasket. map unit. tsi blow off valve . tsi high flow front mount intercooler . polished aluminum intercooler piping. 2 injectors and interface block. tsi injection control unit with turbo timer. injector control system settings . ss braided lines for water cooling. ss braided lines for oiling. return hose and fitting for oil to pan. all hoses/clamps and hardwear/fittings..... so um yeah what do i do basically?

As for turbo'ing your outback, you should have just got a WRX wagon, but if you really want to turbo the OB, just find a wrecked bugeye WRX and swap everything over. but for the "kit" you mentioned, it sounds like it has everything covered almost, but I'd talk to one of the local shops. You can find them in the "Vender" catagory here on the forum. Find the one closest to you and give them a Private meesage. Hope that helps you a little.

i figured the best way to get into cars is to build it yourself(with help of automotive genius'). thanks for the welcome and yes that helps a lot thankyou!
I agree dont bother with a turbo kit. The NA has a higher compression ratio so you would have to screw with that.
next there is the sesonrs and harness you would have to redo.
Getting a wrecked turbo car is the best way. Pull the harness ecu motor ect ect and then you are set.
